West Coast Mini-Meet...continues in WA for a few days.....

I have the most wonderful family in the world. I got home tonight and my beautiful, amazing wonderful daughter had cleaned the house, vaccumed, made my bed, had supper ready. Last night my son saw his mother as a basketcase, because this past week has got to be the worst week in the history of the PontiacFamily, and cuddled me and just sat next to me. My wonderful boy John dropped everything to go and get O'Neil, took him in, fed him, let him sleep in his bed. My adopted brother Bill called Jessica to check on her, called me and calmed me down. Checked on O'Neil I don't know how many times. Bill called again tonight (made me cry AGAIN) talked to the kids, told me everything will be alright. Now all of you fantastic people are sending such kind words, and positive vibes. Thank you again, and thank you is not enough right now.
Oh I should mention that Jessica had a hockey game last night, she scored 3 goals, and had 2 assists, and of course it would not be Jessica if she didn't slam someone into the boards and get a penalty

Life may have sent you some bitter lemons....but your family, biological and bc-logical both, will always be there to help you make it into lemonade. Give the kids a kiss from their East-Coast Mom and tell Jess I said, "that'* my girl!" She'* playing against boys, isn't she? ...and after seeing those pics I almost wish I were stranded in the middle of WA... college boys Glad to see you're making the best of it Pdad! Big thanks to rescuers! You guys are awesome!

Keep yourself together, O'Neill is in good hands...John knows how to treat guests. When I met up with him in Portland, he drove me about twenty miles out of our way just to get a penny.
(When I was a little kid, my family stopped at Multnomah Falls, along the Columbia River Gorge, and I got a penny squashed in one of those souvenir penny presses. Later, when we sold the car we took the trip in, the penny was still in it. Ever since, I have regretted losing that souvenir. John was kind enough to help me replace that little piece of my childhood.)

Sorry to hear about the Bonneville and the stranding of O'Neil, but awesome to hear about the BC family coming to the rescue. Never a doubt in my mind that John and Matt and their friends would help out. This really is what makes us the best car place on the net.

I'm at the pharmacy all day until 7pm. O'Neil droped me off and I gave him keys to the Explorer and to the house. *YAWN* I hate being bored at work....

Nice legs, Matt!
There'* another pic around here somewhere of you standing there scratching your head.
That'* my 'hired gun' 2000caddillacSTS (matt) in the seat, greyhare in the hat, driverjohn in the tank, and Clint from PDXGP in the black hat and white shirt. Loose battery cable was the culprit. They've all been replaced now, and the SLE has the zilla'* old Optima as well. Joel (slayer636) shot this pic.

I just got off the phone with O'Neil, he went to thr transmission shop, and he should hear back from them in about 2 hours on what is actually happening, Bill will have to explain it a little more, because to be honest I am not that knowledgeable about this sort of thing. He is keeping busy, John, the sweetheart, got O'Neil to drive him to work so O'Neil would have a vehicle. So O'Neil is doing a few things on the Explorer (I think)
I have taken the day off, I just needed a day to decompress after last week. Hopefully this week is much better than last week.
