No offense taken. Most of the interior will be two-tone. I'm just going piece by piece because I'm very surprised of the outcome of these parts. I've never done upholstery in my life before and am quite proud of what I've done so for. Maybe I'm showing of a bit, but everything that comes out with a passing grade in my opinion is worth passing onto other members.

The only stumbling block I see is thte seats. they are very complex and I doubt that I have the ability to make the covers. I will probably let the professionals do that.

Stupid question.. is that what my tan looked like in '89? Mine is much darker.. but mine is also fairly dirty.

Cool dude then congrats! Ive been watching some custom car shows and see how they do custom door panels and such and I am very tempted to redo my doors completely. Ive already taken off the sun visors and will be buying some material for them soon and Ive thought about maybe getting some of that foam they use for the door panels and custom "carving" my own shape and then throwing on some nice vinyl or leather. That would rock and I dont think it would be that hard of a job as long as you had the right materials, the time and patience, and the snap pins lined up. Man I am so gonna try to do this lol.

I found liquid foam rubber. This is the coolest stuff! You can make your oun custom shapes from molds and what not. Here'* my foam rubber Pontiac emblem:

This was the first test piece. The foam stuck like crazy to the mold (it seems that I forgot a step) so some of the detail was lost. Lots of great possibilities.

Did you do the stitching and what not yourself? That'* a neat little trick you got there.

Yep. This had to be hand stitched because there is no way to sew it all up and slide it on. It took some practice but it'* not too difficult. I poked myself a few times but the beer helped that.

Version 2 is complete. Like harofreak suggested, it has a wide green stripe on the top and tan on the front and back. I like this one much better. The stitches came out better too.
