Welp, after many hours of research before the project began and as I wait for the car to come back from the body shop, I finally have got a good hold on the electrical mapping for the swap. Here is a link to a converted Excel spreadsheet for your electrical enjoyment. As a general rule this can only be used as a template for your own research unless you plan on doing a swap between the identical year and trim level of the vehicles that I'm using. I have noticed vast differences in the wiring which you probably expected.

No problem. It'll be good to have some behind the scenes pics.

Bumping along the road, here'* the most current situation on Franken

The project has been slowed by the "dudes" at the body shop being slower than molasses. Actually the PL (Project Leader) called around and couldn't sneak it in anywhere else since these guys are really taking their time about getting to it.

At the same time the PL took a new job and is quite busy compared to his previous schedule. The project will most likely be getting finished up on weekends from here out. Meanwhile the weather has been great.

Beer count is up around 2-300 so far.

Here'* some additional pics of the progress. The autobody guys are going as quickly as they can to squeeze me in between "regular" paying customers as well as some shop upgrades. It will be too damn hot to work on it tomorrow so I wasn't too upset when he said that it wouldn't be ready.

Anyway, most of the sandblasting in the engine compartment is complete. Some areas already have a primer but others will actually need a taste of a die grinder. There is a couple additional areas that have rotted through. Not much I can do about that though. I'm not Chip Foose and can't afford to make the car an award winning show car.

Looks good. Glad to see there is some good progress from when I was there and saw it. Bondo can fix those rot holes for you. It'll give the illusion of a Chip Foose job with out the budget.

Rumor has it that Frank will be back to the garage on Saturday morning.

Thoughts and preparations are starting up again.

Beer is being resupplied
Air conditioner in the window of the garage is a consideration
All the rags have been cleaned
More gloves have been appropriated
Local members know it'* on the way and will hopefully come down for a meet

Oh...Randy...better look at the rear valve cover on your motor...looks like it was leaking
