Update: Project Frankenbonne
Hello all... we have an update status to Randman'* project.
Only the second day working on the car, beer count is high. We don't suggest attempting this project at home or in the state of MN. (lol) Like I said....HIGH, and so far there'* only two of us drinking.
Our early morning pics were postponed since I actually helped a little. Can't take pics while working. Randman got the gas tank out, motor is ready to pull and the front suspension is probably going to fall off while we sleep since the bolts are off.
CFoote made a special guest appearance, and we took a few minutes out for lunch. Did I mention the we were drinking?
Here we go
The MN guys have Haro as their "he looks 16 yrs old" and we have CFoote ...took this one surfing the BC
Randy'* swearing at the strut to spindle bolts and using a little extra leverage
In between pics and beers I said...let'* try using this
As you can see it worked really well!
The engine bay at the end of partial day 2
And some parts next to my tractor....
So we end the day around 5 and I do my best Gordy pose (remember our car is still pretty much together)
I believe Randy said we were pulling the motor tomorrow. Hope that doesn't mean I am going to actually contribute to the project...it looks like work!

Supposed to be a little hotter tomorrow. Sheeesh. Hinders my beer intake when it'* hot like that.
That air chisel made a hell of a difference getting those damn bolts out. I'll never do another strut job without it.
Gotta get Ron to heave the 97 drivetrain in the back of my truck so we can do a little work to it before it finds it'* new home. One of the pullies developed a raised ridge right in the middle and made the belt split. Also gotts find out if the oil sender will swap from the 90 to the 97 motor so I can use the factory gauge. We should be soldering the wires by the end of the work week.
