I believe it will look good and very aggressive. Go for it.

Brett did do the roof and it did look good. I think it would look stupid if it only had the hood, deck lid and rear spoiler painted. I think the guy just doesn't want to bother with it. Definately don't paint the bumpers, though.

Stripes would look great on your car. Definitely do the roof. I was about to get gold stripes on my car last June, a guy said he'd do it for about $250-300. I held off for a while cause I figured I could save the money and do it myself.

Will, since you have the same (almost) car, what would you think about gold stripes on mine? Too much gold? Should I go with black instead. Keep in mind I'll probably get the actual ram air hood before I got the stripes. As long as the gold matches, or comes very close to the gold already on my car, I think it would look pretty good. But let me know. I'll test the looks in photoshop till summer.

I love the gold/green combo, but I think gold stripew would be way to ghetto. I actually considered Brett'* black stripes myself. Might still do it sometime.

Gold pin-strips would help any more gold you add to it look better, but I'm not sure.

Nearby someone has a Red (not as bright as mine) 65 Stang with gold strips. Alot of people like the car but just can't get used to it looking like a hotdog. Which is true, red and gold are strange...but on black....well I'm not sure. White goes with anything, just remember that.

I'll think about this one.

But going back to the topic, I WILL do black stripes along the whole car, even the roof (excluding bumpers).
