Snow and a new camera

Highest-quality, 3.2MP pics are about 1.6-1.7MB each, from the top of my head.
The next-worst quality pics are a hair over 1MB each.
It comes with a 32MB card (which I'll be using for a little while), so at highest quality, I can take about 18 pics, and the next-worst, 33ish.

You should buy at least a 256 MB card to hold a decent number of pics. 512 MB or 1G would be better.

thanks for the compliments
... I host my pics on about ~20MB worth of webspace that a guy didn't need anymore on ToyotaNation.com'* forums. I got lucky.
I also have 10MB of space that my ISP gives me (my sigs and general pics, etc go here), I would check with your ISP and see if they offer webspace with their email accounts, I have 3 active accounts (with the possibility for more), so 30MB in total
As for the filesize of each pic, the ones I posted here are resized and moderately compressed. They're half the original size, and after compression (25% in Jasc Paint Shop Pro) about about 120kb each...

Here is the origional sig pic I took with my Canon EOS 10D. This is the small image size, 1536x1024 (0.8mb). The large size would be 3072x2048 (2.4mb). You will definately need a larger CF card, at least a 256mb.

More whoring, with vids this time:
Idling Away (Right-Click, Save Target As) 2.3MB. Burble Burble
I did get some "action" shots last night (inside the car), but you can't hear anything. Not from the engine/exhaust, anyway. It'* all bass and stuff, not a real reflection of the car.
Right-Click, Save Target As
Part of the reason why you can't hear anything is because of the radio, I don't think my mom'* conversation interfered.
I'll have better luck next time.
