No, embarrassment was the last thing on the list.
Wrecking a car in Chicago with the family in the hotel room and no way to get home was scary.

no way will they ever sound like a lawn mower or raspy, they can sound good you just have to get the right parts or else they will sound like ****, ive seen it over and over again. me personally i dont like the 3.1, 3.4, 3.5 sound wise. as for the 3.8, xp cam and dumps, 3" TRUE dual exhausts, no cats or gutted cats, proper headers/downpipe, and prolly 2 flowmasters or something. people dont do exhausts right when they want to intimidate "the american way." my car is bone stock next to the kn air filter, and at a cold start up it sounds nice for stock and even driving when its warm it sounds nice. if i ever soup up my car and get the xp cam and dumpers, im ridding that high pitched whine sound.

Yea, the result of that crash was a bent subframe and lower control arm and broken rim. Not to mention a serious alignment issue.
Gotta do it while you're young I guess.

yur car sounds nice BUT its why i love these 3.8'* cause you can make these 6'* sound like 8'*. that vid i posted awhile back for my 100th post, of the blue daytona, the extremely low deep throaty tone ALMOST resemling a 5.0 cobra is just soooo nice even though i hate cobras/mustangs.
