Of course, you can fiddle around with the degree of compensation... the SLR should give you a bracketing mode - and if they're anything like what I have on my older Minolta, having this enabled will do the bracketed shots in burst mode when you hold the shutter button.

I'm still sketchy over my transition to digital, I want to see what Sony (ugh) comes out with for their prosumer and pro dSLR bodies: normally I'd avoid, but their use of the Minolta Maxxum mount means that I don't have to completely reinvest in my lenses and flashes.

Also, Nikon D200 ftw, but I'd love a Fuji S5... same body, Nikon mount, a little more money, but a jaw-dropping camera

I'll get you to SHOW me this at ONBF...

Very simple way to do it. If you have a camera that has manual controls take the picture at your normal exposure than take your shutter(NOT F/Stop because this will adjust your depth of feild) and drop it one and then raise it one above the normal exposure(3 different pictures at different exposures) put it in PS and go to automate and click on Merge to HDR.. and play around from there Very very simple. One thing I suggest using a tripod.

Digital FTW sony already has DSLR out prosumer . That are not that great AT ALL. But if you have a Minolta and they are minolta mounts then I guess i would do it. Now sony ATW for video cameras for sure.

I have used Kodaks, Sony'*, Minolta Canons, and Nikons in the Marine Corps and odd jobs out of all those Nikon takes it. I guess its like Apple I am an apple guy and people swear on pc but.....

Once you go Mac youll never go back.

Yeah, Sony'* Alpha A100 is a nice body to handle, but I'm nowhere near sold on it. The new prosumer body coming out should have a feature set perfectly aligned with the film body that I'm using now (700si). It should fall near or around the Canon 30D or Nikon D200 territory...
