Sounds similar to what happened to me last summer. My 94 Taurus SHO was parked in the street in front of my house. My nieghbor'* freind apparantly backed into it causing rear quarter panel damage that when estimated was near 3500 bucks. Their insurance compnay cut me a check for 2700, so he could give me the most he could without totalling it out (Thanks StateFarm). Never fixed the car. Drove it for a few months, found my 95 SSEi for 2700 and sold the SHO to my buddy for 500. Not a bad deal eh?
