Default Replacing the fender (FINALLY)

You that don’t know or forgot I kissed a guardrail a few winters ago and haven’t been able to get it fixed due to lack of time and money. Well, I purchased a fender a while ago and am now installing it myself. It is black so once it is installed; I’ll go have it painted professionally. Here’* my progress in an hour:

This is what I'm stuck at. These three damn Torx bolts are on tighter than ****. Any idea'*?

The extent of the damage to the orig. fender:

I'll keep ya'll posted....

try and find a socket set of torx, and then use a great big breaker bar....and remebmer where the shims for the fender were, you will need to use them again to realign the fender with the hood

Do you hex sockets, I mean if it doesnt come off with a 3/8 ratchet id goto 1/2... That panel can be welded back together, my saturn had two broke fenders, one far worse, broken bumper broken quarter, broke door skin and I welded them all back together with plastic weld before I painted the car. And by the way, Id just get the paint code now and have the fender sprayed because its alot hard to mask off the engine bay to just spray that little jamb when you can just spray it now.

I had the same issue removing the fender from the one at the junkyard. I used a torx screwdriver and then put a large crescent wrench over it and turned it that way. Took some effort though. Also, don't forget the 4 bolts inside the fender by the door that you have to remove the inner fender for. Those were fun for me cause the inner fender wouldn't come off. In the last 2 months I've removed 4 fenders and installed 2.
