Barney was waiting on the front porch for Shadd. He got a good laugh.
Everyone that knows Shadd is going to CRAP when you see his hair. I'll get a morning hair pic when he wakes up.
He drove his truck down with two ATV'* in the back, and his Supercharger in the cab. We're doing two days of work on it, and sending him on his way to his next stop on the trip.
Work planned:
Port and polish his M90, new needle bearings, magnetic oil plug in nosedrive.
Shaved throttle body shaft with countersunk flat head screws.
Harofreak'* Throttle body, same work.
Custom88'* shortstar throttle body, same work.
Assemble BonneMeMn'* throttle body (throttle shaft already shaved).
Finish jr's3800'* L36 LIM.
We'll be going to the machine shop at HP tonight to do the machining.
This will FINISH the work for all the 'test cars' that I have planned. After that, I'll be able
to get to work in earnest on the Zilla. Shadd brought a little extra work with him, but with both of us working on it all, it'll help me to get it all done.
Shadd'* parts/pieces he brought:
Poster I made for him before he arrived yesterday. The bottom pic in the poster is the famous smoky burnout headlight pic Cheetah shot at WCBF06. The pic above it is the shot taken seconds before, that nobody has seen before. Nice poster that shows the sequence. Cheetah sent me the shots via email JUST in time to get this done yesterday. Greg, I gave this to him last night, and told him of your contribution. He LOVES it! Well done on the camera work!
Anyone notice the ATV color? Look closer:
