New Alpine In dash TV and trunk pics
My old Alpine was starting to give me some trouble, slow motorization and skipped more and more, turns out there was a recall on it by Alpine. So I decided to up grade to Alpine IVA-D300 their newest TV. 7in Monitor and first screen ever to have pulse technology, when you touch a "button" on the flat screen it kinda zaps you and "feels" like touching a button, very cool. Also no remote needed for dvd menu screens just touch the screen, another Alpine first.
And now for the trunk, I had a few issues with them on the past work and wasn't happy with the fit the second time around, so talked with the regional manager and the agreed to fix it for no cost. I had them make some nice amp covers to help protect them when I do throw some stuff in there, also upgraded some wiring to monster RCA'* and additional grounding and 2 new 100amp breakers, switch style instead of round glass type. Also had 4 9in red neons in the side panels and brushes where the trunk hinges go in.
I'm VERY happy with my trunk now, the fit is top notch and everything is tight and solid. Also they tracked down some rattles in the rear deck. Sounds excelent!!!!!!!!!
I'm a happy camper!!!!

WOW... nice stuff.
I was looking at that Apline deck..... how much did that set you back?
It plays MP3 discs as well right?
Question..... can you burn a DVD (4.7gb) full of MP3s and play it on that deck?

Thanks everyone, the deck retails for $1500 but I got with trading in the old Alpine and 300 extra, well worth it. I'm very happy with my trunk now, before i was Pissed about the finish and dust in the box. Now it'* spotless.
Yes it plays MP3s but not sure about a dvd disc, just burn them on regular CD-r'* and r-w'* too. You can still fit 100+ songs.
As for the dancing penny video it'* coming this week.
Oh and night time pics I forgot how to make my camera not flash, I tried yesterday but will do it tomarrow. Tired tonight, long header install.
