With tinted brake/tail light housings, you could bump up the wattage a bit to 3457 bulbs.
Interesting to note that now 6 years later all the 3457 bulbs are still working.

The whole assembly pulls forward away from car once the 6- 10 mm nuts are removed, & disconnect the single electrical connector-Easy.
I used a 10 mm bit driver, not a wrench to make it quick & painless. You Just leave the 2 nuts above & below the lock cylinder.
Oh & there is a cover that has pull- plastic retainer screws if I remember right.
I updated the photo X- to also now include the rubberized mounts locations for the 10 mm nuts, along with mention of the license plate bulbs #194.
