My other hot rods
Heres my 80 Z28 street strip toy. I've owned it 11 years now. When I bought it, it was totaled. It tangled with an oak tree and the tree won, no contest In a nutshell, there was a tree sitting directly 4 feet in front of the passengers seat. It took about a year to fix the body/chassis damage & she was ready to cruise with the new yellow paint job. I cruised it around that way for a couple years, but it always got pushed aside for other project cars I needed to play with. About 6 years ago it got a total teardown again, I replaced everything but the paint (it was till perfect). It got a dual quad 350 and I hit the show car scene for a year with it-BORING! Time to go racing, so I changed a lot of stuff around again. As of last year, the car runs 12.60 at 108mph on the engine and 11.70 at 118mph on a small shot of nitrous. These times are in 100% street trim, as driven to the track. It would be easy to go a lot faster, but I actually drive the car and you have to make compromises somewhere I live in */W Michigan and have driven to, raced & drove back to Route 66 In Joliet, IRP Dragway in Indiana, Norwalk, Mid Michigan Motorplex In Stanton & Milan Dragway in Michigan all without any big issues. I feel thats quite an accomplishment as not many can say that! My local track is only 45 minutes away, thats where I test a lot & also break a lot of stuff (probably could build 2 more cars from the junk that didnt work or broke!). The cars stuck in the garage this year while I change a few things in the engine. The goals now are to run right at the IHRA rollcage limit of 11.49 and I'd like to increase mileage a bit. Its actually very good on the highway but horrible around town. Time for a overdrive tranny! Over the next few years I'll be hitting the body again, going back to a more original look & the original gold color it used to be. I'm very proud of this car, even though it kills me most of the time! I cant really ever see selling it. I've owned over 30 cars, some junk, most not, but this one got me
Heres my old NMCA EZ Street car. A lot of fun back in the day, but big budget guys kind of ruined that!
Heres an ongoing effort between a buddy & I. Weve been messing with this since the mid 90'*. 69 Camaro Super Gasser, 540cid Bowtie block, Big Chief heads, goes 9.12 at 149mph when unleashed.
I got more pics on my homepage, should be in my profile.

Thanks PontiacDad! Right now I'm porting/polishing the heads. Also looking at swapping in some longer rods. Its got a pretty flat torque curve now, but I think I can flatten her out a little more I finally got around to making a air pan too, so the hood is finally functional. Should help a little bit more.
