My new ride, not a Bonnie or even a Pontiac, but it'll do...
So, as I'm sure some of you saw, I made a 1300 mile round trip to eastern PA and back on Saturday. I took my sisters '93 Olds 88 and had no problems whatsoever. I test drove the car and there were no problems, it drives great, and it was exactly as described. I offered $700 for the car, he accepted, and I went on my way. (after checking out his black 5 speed '89 Turbo GP first) The car is a White '90 Lumina Euro. However, this is what I liked about the car, and why I made the trip...
The engine was swapped in by the guy I bought it from, so he would have something to drive around while he was converting his Turbo GP to a 5 speed.
Some pics of the exterior:
I'll get some better pics when I get the chance, these are the pics he showed me before I went to look at the car. I figure for $700 it won't be a bad car to drive around while I'm fixing my GP and doing a few mods to it. This car already has a chip in it, and will likely have a few of the cheap/free mods done to it in the very near future. It runs extremely well and should be a good driver. You can't tell from the pics, but it has dual exhaust from the Turbo GP he got the engine from, however its tucked under the bumper about 3-4" so its kinda hidden. I'm not sure if I'll lengthen it out so it is close to even with the bumper, or if I'll leave it where it is, I haven't decided yet.
