My new (not to the club) bonne
You all have seen this car before.
I remember coming on here and reading all the posts complimenting this beautiful car Now I can take the praise Well, the car is beautiful on the inside, and the outside, and the ***GASP*** engine bay :?: Heh, no, this part has been severely neglected.
Actually the picture makes it look squeekey clean. But alas, it is not. The valve covers are pretty nasty looking. Looks like they got oil all over them and then dirt on top of that. Also right behind the radiator and straight down it looks like some sort of fluid has pooled a little bit right there. The fluid down there might have something to do with the severe leak from the master cylinder. (Notice the shiney new one)
I guess built into my photofest is a question. What do you guys use to clean out the area under the hood?

Great to see the car is still here and welcome to the Club Logan.
That engine bay can be cleaned up in a few hours with some elbow grease, search detailing for some tips.

You can use some orange degreaser or purple lightning, just cover up the tender parts. Spray it on and hose it off. Works pretty good for a easy basic 5 minute job.
