Pat may have hair clips on the stalk.. says they are for his GF. In his defense he doesn't have enough hair to use them.
He should get tons of kudos for making a 12 hour hike to the meet. It was great having him over (even if he hogged the garage).
Fordboy.. hitch a ride with Bob.. I'm sure he won't miss the next one.
Nick.. since the next will be spring.. I sure hope you have the bonnie ready and don't need to co-pilot. If you do have to co.. you have a good guy as a pilot.
We need Pat'* pics.. there'* another one in there for Fordboy
It'* a great time and the more the merrier. WCBF'rs there were 15 cars on Saturday and the 16th and 17th showed on Sunday. Total car count 17
Jim W and Angie, wish you were able to attend.. we understand with the long drive and all you were unable.
Hopefully next time we can convince some of the Canadian, Michigan and PA folks to roll out for it.
I'm happy with the turnout and even with rain it didn't stop us. However the more the merrier.
I heard yesterday there should soon be another SSEi in the hands of a current memeber. Sorry to all that drove my cars.
Aaron (Mortehl) : (95 S1) and said "WOW"
Tracy: (97 S2) "Thanks for ruining me!"
Rob (DF aka CorvetteCrazy): (97 S2 in rain) "I like it!"
Hailey (after the drive home with Rob in their 00 S2) "I felt funny the whole ride home"
Pat (Rode in Frank) "Holy crap.............(6 hours of chatter)"
Rob (DF aka CC) (Drove Frank) "Hey..let'* measure the rubber patches!!!!!"
Randy (realizing his new tool kit had 4 cupholders) "Alrrrriiiiggghtt!"

There was an Aurora there, so Ms Toasty helped fill that void. Sorry we couldnt make it, but there was so much to see and do in southern CT. We left last night and drove 8hrs through the rain to avoid that windstorm/possible flooding happening down there today.
Good to see you all had a good time. Oh, and it would only take my about 6.5 hrs to get to Endfield....I intend to get down there again.

Fun isn't the word.
Others have said if you missed it you'll never know. The fun factor was high under cold rainy conditions. A little drinking a whole thread full of mods and maintenace items, tons of joking and BSing around. Does it get any better?
One of the humorous things for me was the test of my tools. At first people were trying to make due with close enough, then they were asking me in a "I know you probably don't, but do you have..." if I had something. Pretty much each time I was able to produce the tool needed.
Pat gave Aaron (Mortehl) and I the brief on the bottom bolts holding on a L27 TB being tough. 45 seconds and one swivel socket later it was off. He had many words for me, some being "I'm getting a set of those!" A little while later I noticed Pat is kneeling on the cold concrete floor, walked over and handed him the knee pads. Then the kneepad jokes flowed.
