Thanks for the comments guys. I fixed the "P" tonight, I had the LED on the end accidentally covered with some electrical tape now it lights up perfect.

I wish I could make these and sell them to others, I could get the covers and paint them to match the customers car if they didn't have a cover, and then ship it out as a kit, but it would still require them to hook the wiring up themselves, so really I wouldn't have done much other than drill some holes in the cover, paint the letters black, and paint the cover if it needed to be color matched. I don't know, maybe I could come up with something...they sell worse things on ebay that you could make yourself than that I guess lol.

On the other hand..my car is unique so I'm not sure I want to give that up to make a few bucks

This is hot, and an awesome idea for those who don't need the front plate, and can run the cover all of the time.

Ya I feel bad for all you guys who have to run a front plate. When I took that cover off the front of the car looked ugly!

I remember how it was living in MN though...but now that I am in FL I love not having a front plate!

We Indiana guys are as fortunate, too. I find that FL and IN are pretty similar with their vehicle regulations. That said, this front bumper mod might get looked past in FL, but you've got to be careful to have only white or amber lights up front. For anyone else that wants to try this out, make sure not to get blue LEDs if you're not in the rust belt or Florida.
