My latest family addition comes home
2001 Silverado
LS Trim, Laundry list of options include G80, off road pack, trailer pack, driver and passenger power buckets, leather wrapped wheel, etc, etc.
Has electronic transfer case, tow/haul, and what looks to be a dealer installed Kenwood Sirius radio setup. Leer cap with locks and sliding vent windows.
Is a former Florida truck. There isn't a flake of rust on this truck anywhere.
Less than 90k on it. Engine is clean enough to eat off of. No paint or interior fading.
Bought through my trusted local mechanic. He has family in Florida. He visits them and brings back a couple cars to sell. There are 2 year old trucks up here in NY with more rust than this one. (And yes, its gonna get undercoated! I promise!)
These were all taken the first day. I've only had it since late Wednesday afternoon. Been in the works to get it for a week or so. Better pics to come when I get a chance, and mother nature cooperates for a little while when I actually get a nice day off.

It may not match the main color, but the cap matches the accent color. It looks pretty good. And the reason I thought the radio was a dealer install, was due to the factory type antenna on the roof, and the interface module under the rear seat. Very clean wiring into the factory radio. Looks very pro. Ive had Sirius for a very long time, and Ive never seen a setup like this. Either done by a dealer or pro shop. The radio isnt self contained like all the newer units. Probably been in there since new.
I have the original window sticker for it too. Tops out at about 33g. 6k of it are add ons.

electronics is what im talking about, the majority of techs would think that unit is the cause for a no start, or bad idle, spontaneous combustion, whatever they cant figure out.

Hahaha, this is true. When I had my Avalanche I had a Flowmaster muffler put on it. The guy doing it didn't disconnect the battery before welding and it fried a sensor somewhere. SES light came on so I took it in. They fixed it no questions, even though it was my fault. I hate not living by that dealer anymore.

nice truck. ive got my eye on my grandfathers o1. same trim except he has the cloth weird bench/bucket things. he called me to ask if the brake pads could dryrot. the dealer says they are because it sits literally all week but to go to church and to carry what the lucerne cant. he just rolled it over to 21k lol.
