Looks good so far. Keep takin' pics of your progress. You have the more difficult dash... not as much room as those of us that have consoles. It ought to be a challange.

My 90 has a similar setup and I've thought of a screen in there. Where are you going to relocate the climate control? If you need to extend the vacuum lines, I can help you out.

First Idea- it is going to be mounted in place of my ashtray (it seems to fit OK in that spot)

Second Idea- convert my car to electronic climate control (i knw exactly HOW to do it, bit DOING it is quite a daunting task)

Third Idea - use the vacuum solenoids that come in the electronic climate control to computer control it.

Yea, yuck, yuck... in that order for me. I considered moving mine to the left in place of the vent just to the right of the steering colimn. That might be difficult to operate on your car with the column shifter though.

If you convert to ECC, consider surface mounting ONLY the control panel face and extending the wires to the chassis of the control head which can be mounted damn near anywhere. I've had mine apart and there is only a ribbon cable with about 8 wires that connect the face with the chassis. Heck, you could probably mold the face right into the dash trim. Hmmmm.....

Hrm... Ideas in my head... and a spare bonneville with which to try them... hrm... now for the money.

I like the setup. I'm interested to know the makes and models of the equipment you bought and where you bought it from. I have been contemplating this for a while (mostly when I was looking for a suburban and with the Regal) I was also looking at the Via boards like Randman.

How do you plan on having it control door locks, windows, etc? I've been contimplating turning my seat controls, door locks, windows, etc... all over to a small (maybe 4") touchscreen control in place of where the seat sontrols normally are. Is there some sort of programable PC controller that can use relays you have in mind?

94 is still OBD1. 95 is when it changed. I am interested in the Door lock question as well.
