My Dirty Girl

My Dirty Girl
Just gave her a basic wash, still needs a good waxing, and the windows need cleaning, inside needs a full cleaning/detail.
But, I figured why not show off my dirty girl, she is due another paint job!!
Now if only I did not have so much to do I could give her the waxing she needs!
Hood is up because I do not close my battery maintainer up under there after driving it, don't want the heat shortening the life of it..
Happy Labor Day to all, and thanks to any and all that served!

I got that painted a few years back, had a deer commit suicide into my passenger side headlight area, they had to replace the grill, hood, and headlamp assembly, since insurance was paying for a basic paint matching of the hood, I opted to put a grand with it and get Maaco to do a custom Deepened Candy Apple Red on it, I think it cost me like 1,400.00 or so when they did it, it turned out ok, but it was not as good as I had hoped for, I got what I paid for though...
She has gotten chipped, and scratched a little here and there, so hopefully I'll be able to get her painted again soon.
Of course with all of the stuff I will eventually need to do to keep it in tip top condition, I'd be better off getting a new car...
I just cannot let go of this one though, it has gotten me from A to B for over a decade now, I got it with 27k miles, and am at like 137k now...
Oh yeah, and I totally got Labor Day mixed up, I was thinking about Veterans Day, shows what happens when I post after being up for a LONG time, lol

Happy you had time William to get er washed, nice when paint shines!
The PA'* are pretty reliable and seem to keep going in riding style!
Once you do get it painted, it will look just like new again.
We have been under a watering restriction here no lawns, no car/boat washing.
Luckily I have been able to keep my PA clean by going to commercial hand washes, that are still allowed to operate, since I cant wash at home.
My PA has now 113K miles ( I am catching up with you) and am happy it still gets around 38 mpg with cruise on at 60mph.
Love the country rides & scenery!

Your PA looks good as always man, and the views in the background are still beautiful!
I'd have to go on the Blue Ridge Parkway to try to get halfway decent scenery to take pics with, Fall is around the corner, but I doubt I'll be able to get out and enjoy any nice scenery, taking care of my grandmother keeps me too busy, and all funds are always low, at least she is still with me though!
