I believe she said she had pics of the '56.
Our other campsite neighbor that joined us for the evening from Washington (on his way to Southern CA and Joshua Tree National Monument) used to have a '66 Bonneville.

It was amazing enough for her to know that between us, we had the service manuals and scantools to diagnose every car between 1986 and 2004. 12 pin and 16 pin alike.
The beer didn't bug her apparently. We introduced ourselves with bottles in hand, and she still gave us an extra hour before coming over. She let us work on her car drinking AND in the dark

Oops. Forgot one thing. I promised Pdad and Pmom that I'd post that Jessica actually tried to get into the men'* restroom at KOA in a 'space cadet' brain mode. Dad stopped her just in time.
Figured the public embarrassment would be fun tonight.
I'll take pictures of my bruises.

That'* pretty random. Looks like it'* only a 1997 SE (no leather).
Kinda like last summer when I was at a gas station and 1995 Bonneville SE pulled in with 4 kids and enough musical instruments to start a small marching band (turned out they were on their way to the Midwest'* largest marching band festivals).
They pulled up next to me (I was actually sitting their opening my munchies) and immediately opened the hood, which got the best of me. So I got out of my car and asked if they were having a problem (since they were looking at the engine as if they were some aliens and had their minds totally boggled by the power of the 3800).
Sure enough, they said that the car was over-heating and the check engine light was on. Asked how long the temp needle had been in the red, and they said "Since two exits back" (on I-94, which would be 15 miles). So I popped the engine cover off and there was the evidence -a cracked upper intake.
I told them that the car was pretty much immobile, but they insisted on getting some anti-freeze. I warned them about hydro-locking the engine, but they persisted in getting the car running to go the final 25 miles. We filled it with Anti-freeze, and they took off. They got to the edge of the gas station lot, stopped for traffic, and then pulled out -slowly, while the car seemed to hiccup. Then they hit the red light about 100 feet away. Light turned green and sure enough the engine stalled -never to start again. We pushed it off to the side of the road, and I hooked up my tow rope (which I always kept in the trunk of my 1994). Pulled them to the parking lot 1 block away, and called a tow truck. Then I gave one of the girls a ride to her brothers (who happened to live 10 miles away) to get one of his vehicles. Then the next day I stopped by the shop to see what they found wrong. Turns out there was over 10 quarts of "milk" in the oil pan -the engine was hydro-locked.

No new pics for posting today. I left my camera at Pdad'* campsite last night. ![Roll Eyes](https://www.gmforum.com/gm/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Fairly uneventful day for all. I had to work, they did laundry and stayed in the pool. It was pushing 90° yesterday. After work, we went over to Class A Audio (one of our sponsors) to do some more meet prep while we watched Godzilla in the home theater demo room. Dinner at KFC, beer and a campfire afterwards.
2000SilverBullet and DriverJohn should be making appearances today.
