More two-tone: door panel pics
The weather man said 55* today so after I'm done typing this, I'm going to find him and give him some . It'* still a little chilly for outdoor projects so I was only able to get the 2 front doors completed. Here they are:
As you can see from the last pic, the tan is a shade off. But with all of the two-tone items already in the car, it looks almost as if it was planned. Shhhh... I won't tell if you don't tell. As I was going through the process of making these, I ran into a dude that has a local upholstery business. We birefly talked about doing the seat covers because I don't want to tackle them myself. Because he is local, I think I will be able to do the fronts at one time and the rears another thus not having to drop mucho coin all at once. This will allow me to do the worn drivers seat much sooner.

The paint I have is SEM 15033 Saddle Tan. It matches the OEM color very well. I haven't gone to the store with a sample of the vinyl to see if they have a match for it. In the end I'll probably just leave it as-is.

Thanks, guys.
Here'* what it cost me:
1 yard tan vinyl....$13
1 yard green vinyl....$13
matching thread....$4 or so
4 linear feet of 1/4" foam....$4 (I have a ton left)
spray adhesive....$18
embroidery....$20
top stitches....$35
pneumatic stapler....$52.80 from Ebay
1 box (10k) 5/32" #7 staples....$10
Grand total....$169.80. Would have been great if I didn't have to buy the stapler but I figured that a trim shop would have charged me about $40 to staple them. Not to mention I would have had to take all four out, cart them down there and back, and reinstall at the same time. I can actually use it for some woodworking projects as they come.
I reupholstered the spare set of door panels so if I ever sell the car, I can sell the panels separately. It'* a good thing I had a spare set too. It probably took 5 weeks to get everything done. although I'm not driving the 93 due to the weather, I would have hated to see it apart for that long.
