LOL @ $300 to fix a dented door
So a couple weeks ago some kid took a skateboard to my rear driver side door and put a huge dent in the door.
So I went to Canadian Dent for a quote on how much to pull the dent out and they told me $300!!! So I said **** that. So then I pulled the door panel off, took out all the power window crap and pushed most of the dent out myself.
However I couldn't get all of it out. So I went to pick-apart yesterday and found a 96 Bonneville (mines a 97) that was black and had a good condition door. Now it wasn't an ssei so the moulding at the bottom was different, but I got the door anyways figuring I'd just swap the moulding.
So last night i'm changing the door.
My door
The New One
So i get it off no problem and I go to swap the mouldings, only to find out that the clips are in totally different spots and the moulding off the new door wasn't even as tall as the one off the car.
The top one is off of the pick-apart door, bottom one is from my car.
So i had to measure everything up and drill holes into the new door and then screw all the clips in the right places.
And this is the Car now with the new door.

Good job on the replacement, looks excellent, like it never even happened.

There'* several places in Calgary. I found a couple of dents on my car. An independant guy O/A Dent-Force came out to the house. He removed 5 in my left rear quarter panel for about $125.00. I couldn't even see 3 of them (until he showed me with his special light). Very good work and pretty inexpensive. Apparently he does a lot of work for dealerships so I'm guessing the quality is consistent.
