And now that we're done watching Dale Jr. win at Pheonix, we're off to drive again This time in the rain, 35°F, and dropping. This oughtta be good for a couple accidental burnouts. It'* getting harder and harder to drive Greenzilla in the winter.

Bill, all you are doing is getting her stoked for her license. What are you going to do when she is, say 14 or 15, and takes one of her boyfriends out for a spin while you are passed out in front of the PC?

This got me thinking one day. He was off one day and napping on the couch after a bunch of yard work. I took the keys, picked up my buddy and we drove uptown. I was 14 at the time. Everything was fine until my mom saw me as she was driving home from work. When she got home, she accused my dad of about everything in the book.
He said that he would "talk to me". He was pissed, but he knew why I did it. He just told me not to do it again, or at least not to drive around the route that my mom took home from work.
BTW..my dad had an El Camino with a 400 small block.

lol I have one of those storys...
When I was 14(1990ish) my dad had a 1976 eldorado, this thing broke down on the way back from work so I had to go get him (about 14km city/highway) my mom wasnt home, and my dads truck (his restored 1970 short box---the main reason why my dad and I restored my 69 a year later) was home, It had about 285 rwhp. I had a bit of driving experience but not much... so I took it easy the whole way expt a few times when the clutch popped out too soon... lol
