LED "bolts"
Has anybody ever tried thse light up LED "bolts?" I'd like to use something like that maybe to put behind the "R" symbol in my grille so it lights up at night. Think two of them behind it would be bright enough to light it up or no? I have no idea how bright they might be..

They actually work really well....
I've got them on my 91 holding it'* LP on... no issues.
But I don't think they'll give the effect your looking for.
They are very directional... it'* a very narrow beam. Two of them really wouldn't light up an area... more like have two directional lights. If you can sorta understand that.
They are great for LPs though.
I've got 4 I'm going to wire into the 97'* LP. I'm considering hooking them upto my brake lights. I think it would improve safety.... seriously though... I saw a SUV with a brake light inside the tail hitch.. it caught my eyes. Which was the whole idea of the high brake light.

Yea, they worked pretty good for me to. I used them on a Taurus before, in the grille by the Ford emblem, one on each side. But I got pulled over by the MP'* cuz they look like "warning lights" or something to that effect.
