I've been busy... [56k: Only 6 Pics (800x600)]
So, since the weather has been getting nicer out I've been getting busy on some stuff I've been wanting to do. I don't have the luxury of a garage, so I'm stuck doing all my work outside. The garages here at my apartment are a joke, and are pretty expensive. They really are not worth it. Anyways, I figured I'd share some pics. I didn't plan on taking any, so I only had my phone with me today - so sorry for the not-so-great quality of the pics.
First off I installed some Pilot CyberWhites. They work great, and are miles ahead of the junk factory fog lights (at the time of the pic the light wasn't aimed yet, so it doesn't look centered - and the pack of detailing cloths were for me to kneel on and not have to get gravel implanted in my knee - lol):
Next, I got around to ordering/installing a ScanGaugeII. This was a gift from the government beings I paid for it with my Economic Stimulus check. Pretty cool little device. I printed off the list of DTC from tech info and put it in my car. That way if I get any codes away from home I'll know what they mean.
Finally, I did something that I first saw ages ago when Jeff (jwakamud) wanted a photoshop of back when he had his '04 SE. I thought it was a pretty cool idea, and thought it'd look good on my car since everything is pretty much black and chrome/silver. I put some of the trunk lid badges on my front doors above the chrome trim. I know some people don't like badges, and some do, so might not be to everyone'* liking, but I think it works good on my car at least. Tell me what you think:
My phone did some weird stuff with the shadows on this one: :?
I also got a good shot of the sunset tonight when I was going for a cruise.
Stuff I still want to do is get some chrome rims (trying to work out a deal on some angled 5-spokers right now), an Intense FWI, and a set of WeatherTech in-channel window vents. Then I need to get busy wasting money on my truck!

Thats probably one of the best looking SE'* i've seen.
Im on the fence when it comes to badges, they look good on, but the clean look is awesome too. I think you did a great job with them, and its something that makes your car unique (well almost unique).
Chrome rimes would make your ride even sweeter.

No, I don't. I just snapped that one shot when I was mid-install. I got them at Wal-Mart. $35, I believe. Their full name is Pilot Navigator CyberWhites. They're supposedly for pickups/trucks.
A lot of guys run them around here. These and Angel Eyes seem to be the most popular replacements. The factory fog lights are a joke - as you probably know. These work really good. Although, a candle with a mirror behind probably throws off more light than the stock foggers. lol
