Any hardware store would probably have nylon spacers that would work and be dirt cheap as well.

well for the ride to work today I took off the bottom bumper cover, and I left the hood protector on. I think I will run it like that for a while, just so it covers up the large chip on the hood.

I guess I am the only one but I say repaint. I enjoy my car too much too look at that all the time(not a fan of the bras either). I plan on repainting my front end for a much smaller blemish and a few other rock chips. I feel that paint quality is one of the most important parts of a car and its hard to compromise on it. Look at it this way, one repaint and with some regular care it will stay in great shape for a long long time. Your car is too nice for that IMO.
