Just a thought, and a not very good one at that, but take for example my beautiful rims-
the center of them is actually a plastic piece which is chrome finished also and matches perfectly. Because it is plastic it is super light and really easy to deal with. Just something to look into. You might be able to make a similar deal to hide the dart and put the "a" on (And it was a good excuse to show off my gorgeous rims, just so everyone doesn't forget that stock isn't always better ).
*edit* just needed to edit out some of my own ignorance

Jeanie, that our thoughts right now to, the caps on the 2000 SSEi rim are plastic too...Peter is gonna have a good look at em. We'll figure something out
