I only have one pic to add to the collection. This is the fuel pump module that found a home on the left side of the trunk and the 97 grommet and harness that goes to the fuel tank. The original tank harness connector was damaged and modified so I decided to make the change. Also, I intend to relocate the compressor and the new harness has the air lines that will allow this.
The wiring is darn near done. I only need to find suitable circuits to connect power to the VATS module and DLC connector. As Bill mentioned, we decided to remove the vacuum reservoir from the firewall and substitute the cruise module. We need to find a spot for the 97 vacuum tank as it can't be installed in it'* usual position. This space is already occupied by the headlight washer fluid tank. This tank will be used for the windshield washer rather than the headlights in order to keep the left side as open as possible for the air filter/heat shield.
It'* a bummer that we couldn't crank it up today but it will be time very soon. I'm still researching an exhaust system. If you have some input on this subject please post here.

We finished preppin the engine bay and then started getting ready.

Sorry they weren't more exciting. We'll have some good ones probably in a week or so.

The radiator is at the shop awaiting me to pick it up after work
Battery has been slow charged for about 3 days at 2amps. GM recommends a 2amp slow charge for I think 24 hours for maximium charge.
Hmmmm if the fuel tank was only in it :(
Guess I still need to fix the windshield washer bottle (formerly the headlight washer bottle.)
Vats resistor was soldered in the other night.
Maybe I'll wheel it outside and clean it down ...maybe not..lol

Well...a call came in to pick up a radiator so I hustled right up there after work. And a nice guy handed me this big white box.
Then I put it into my 97 since it'* the same exact radiator. (ok...j/k)
Here'* the basic look. Standard rad 2 core w/level sensor.
I looked at Franken and thought...it looks empty in there.
Got it all hooked up to the hoses and tranny lines. Along with teh 97 radiator support piece for the top.
Then thinking again since there'* no radiator cap or level sensor here. I'll put only the furthest fan in so it'* easy to get to the sensor.
I've left the other fan on top of the motor with the bolts nearby so it'* all set if Randy happens to stop by with the sensor and cap.
Coming together really well. Only things left to crank it a couple times are the grounds and battery. Shouldn't take any time at all. And no, I'm not even going to hook up the battery in case something happens I want two of us here. One inside and one outside. Randy did a lot of wiring.

Got the fire extinguisher? We may need it.
Just kidding. A lot or research was put into the wiring even before the drivetrain was removed from the donor car. I has manuals laying all over the living room at the house. made Mrs randman1 rather mad. She took it well though. I think she is a little excited about the crank up this weekend too. Mmmmm... maybe not.
Thanks for picking that up for me and installing it. What'* left?? Fuel tank and VATS and OBDII DLC power only?? Empty the fridge of it'* bubbly amber liquids??
