Finally stopped raining for a few days...
Time to get the spring coat of wax on her!
I stopped to help someone in the ditch during a blizzard and slid into a curb myself. Heh...oops.
The painted dash parts are all sanded very smooth and feel like glass, but it'* not a uniform gloss. Under the head unit is rough and didn't turn out very well. This summer I'll be doing the remainder of the gray trim, redoing the large dash piece, and probably fiberglassing (or bondo'ing) the center console into one smooth piece.
And from the driver'* door. This side turned out much nicer than the other side of this trim.
(Thanks for the rear seat Marty!)
Some of you may recognize this beauty as Ol' Blue Eyes' old SLE. Couldn't be happier with it.

Try some Mequiar'* Plast-X on those tails. It'll clear that haze right up. Looking good there.
Personally, I prefer the 00-01 SLE badge (have it on my trunk so my two cars 'fit' better together) over the 02-05 badge, but it looks good!

Thanks guys
Bill -- I'll have to try that, I've used brake cleaner and some elbow grease and it really helped before.
dbeast -- I've got a reeeeeeel nice set of ghetto golds i'll trade you! brand new tires up front!
Regarding the badges, Marty had those on the car when I bought it, and I personally like these SLE badges over the 00-01; being angled adds a bit of character. I would have taken the 3800 badges off, but I've had too many GP guys notice or comment on them.
