the only thing I dont like about pauls car are the winshield wiper wings.....I still have NFC what those are for.
The engine bay is among the best on BC for functionality and appearance though...and it looks better in person.

Haro..I don't think Rogers was rude. He nicely said that a lot of work is recognized and that it'* merely not for him. Offered some suggestions of how he'd like it to be.
I've seen the car in person and can understand some of his points. However..once it'* running all you can usually see are the tail lights. Being that Paul and I have been joking back and forth (BTW Paul.. we'll have to get Barney back from Wren for the bet... OGG seems obsessed with the purple one) about this coming year...I have lots of respect for what Paul has done and continues to do.
Let him add all the tape, foil and other things for dressing it up. (That'* called weight advantage...shhhhh don't tell him )
Back to our regularly scheduled topic. ... Paul..were you really hanging in the rafters? lol

Not really my look either. I'm a fan of a uniform look, and generally less is more a lot of times. I don't like seeing pontiac in a few different fonts in random places.
No one is dissing or flaming anyone though over it.

I accept honest critism. Everyone has different tastes, even though we all share a passion for the Bonnevilles.
I used to live in Waterloo Ontario. Driving year round there made it very hard to keep a clean engine bay. Tape wouldn't last a week before looking tacky.
I copied the red lines and the script of the OEM cover.
The beauty of red tape, is it lasts for a few years and is easy to take off and reapply.
My engine cover is so simple and because it is made from aluminum screen, weighs less than your chewing gum.
Hans, my friend, those little ricer wings are very important.
They serve three purposes.
First they create a downforce on the wipers when driving in the rain at ...cough...higher speeds.
Ya I know, that you know I will rarely use this feature.
Second, from inside the car looking out, you get a line of sight over them that adds to the adrenaline rush.
..and Third,...... the most important feature.
If a ricer should come into view as I'm coming up on his rear, he will look in his rear view mirror and see what he thinks are friendly Ricer wings of brotherhood.......
but then the next thing he will see are those Wings flapping waving him the Ricer salute as I blow by him.
Yes Bill, I was really hanging from the light fixture.
Ohh. and I will remember to leave my engine cover at home so you guys don't have to look at it. Besides, it has to come off for the ice bags.
