This was an excellent thread.
Boosty, I had totally missed your Post last year when you did the Barefoot Gasket Boogy.
Just the other day while I was inspecting mine for tell tale leaks.....guess what?
Yup, you guessed it.
A tiny amount of coolant at the outside rear corner of the drivers side intake manifold.
You know what I will be doing in a couple of months.
Going to hone my porting and polishing techniques very soon.

Did ya ever have one of those moments when you think, "OHHHH that makes sense now! I just had one.... I was looking for my PCV valve, but couldn't find it on my SC. And when someone said I wouldn't have a UIM problem because of the SC....Now I get it. The SC isn't just the cone sticking out of the side....its the whole top part also....And what do ya know...I found the PCV under the black plate with "PCV" marked on it!
I was looking for a plastic housing with vacuume hoses or something...
I am catching on...
BTW, My old PCV was brown and oily, there were no O rings on it, there was some sort of rubber ring that it seats into, but I couldn't get it out, so I left it. The new PCV fit snug into it. Car runs and idles well.
Move this post if its in the wrong section....
