LOL to fire....it'* just a pipe dream......I think. The car at the shop with the bumper all fubared from flames is enuff to convince me NOT to do. But a coupla beers makes me want it all the more.
I actually spend most of my time at my lake property in PA. just below Binghamton NY. I keep my vehicles registered in NY because it'* cheaper for all the toys I have insured and i own property there. And all are welcome to visit and see it when it'* done and I will also post locations when I put in shows.
The coats...one coat of wineberry candy to bring back the sanded OEM Cranberry, then one coat of Silver Metalflake in clear, then the "process", then 3 coats of blood red candy, then three coats of clear. Takes all that for the effect to really get it clarity and depth.
The car was sanded twice before and after painting; once with 1000x, then 2000x. Then buffed with three succesively passes. The first two times with two differernt compounds.I wasnt there for all the sanding and buffing but it took almost3 days after paint to make finish what it is, with one guy on it all the time and another helping him at times. The response to this has been overwhelming and I thank everyone .

Well thanx man and easy with the compliments, it'* easy to swell my head. I cant explain it....I just went to get my 7 month old LaCrosseCXL in for service and saw this red harlot of a Bonnie and couldnt take my eyes off of it. And it started talking to me. (I SWEAR) And I havent been able to say no to her since. It'* like automotive crack and i cant stop. But I've always loved Pontiacs in general and had a 2+2 and a Catalina in high school and always wanted their big sister with the 421 TriPower
A paint job isnt everything and there are alot of beautifull Bonnies in this club with members who have worked alot harder on their cars then I ever will. I hope to inspire, not put on a platform because I had the bucks to bring the concept about. Even if it cost me a life insurance policy before I'm done This club is a phenominal place with alot of GREAT people in it and i appreciate all the help and kindness shown.

That is AWESOME!!! VERY WELL done!!
I'd say that was an original idea, and it kinda is, but theres someone that has a 91 Camaro Z28 1LE package that has all the blackout parts marble painted, but you had the WHOLE car done!!!
Way to go -can't wait to see it when it'* done -and before you do mods that add weight, do the juice and take it to the track.
