This was actually my second attempt. The first time I used a dremel and it looked a little sloppy, so I tried this...
-Using a heat gun I warmed up the glue holding the two pieces together. Being very careful not to use too much heat and warp the plastic. All it took was a little separation, enough to fit a small flathead screwdriver in between the two pieces. Then I very carefully used the screwdriver to pry them apart... Really take your time because its very easy to crack the plastic.
-Once they were apart I used sandpaper to clean off the old dry glue.
-Then, I used a 2 part plastic epoxy to glue the pieces back together.
-Finally I ran clear silicone around the seam keep moisture out.
-The bulbs are clear 194 LED bulbs that light up amber.

Looks great! I was thinking about popping those amber reflectors out of my headlights when I tinted them, but the paint looked bad under them

Very nice work. I have ten thumbs and few tools, so I dropped $25 on a pair of eBay pre-cleared corners, which looked almost as good as yours.
