I used the Armor All wipes to clean the plastic cover and basically anything plastic (airbox) and the rubber hoses, etc. For the nasty gunk crap I used a toothbrush, wire brush, paper towels, ArmorAll wipes too. I didn't use any spray degreaser stuff because the wire brush got rid of all the bad stuff that I could reach and you have to rinse it off usually. I don't like the thought of soaking my engine in water, it'* not really good and you have to be careful. The eninge must be cool too.
My engine is extremely clean considering I didn't steam clean or anything like that. I don't want to deal with covering the TB and stuff to protect from sprays and contaminants getting in the engine so I did it all step by step and by hand.
I have my own car detailing business and have done others' engines the same way.

Just got my RED Taylor wires and my intake will be here this week. I'll be posting these pics as soon as I get them in. Classes are out, no more school for the rest of my life. I now have time to work on my car! Woohooooooooo!! (Yeah, I'll be getting a better job too, but I have to spend time on my Bonne first! I mean come on, I have priorities )

i love how they look but the front whitewalls are hard to keep white(dam break dust) i just need to find some where to get the hub cap im missing (gm wants $200 for 1) so i need to find it cheap, ive tryed junkyards buttheir hard to find, i guess it was an option that cost alot when people bought them new so their kinda hard to find in my area. and i like the grandma look cuz cops ignore me(2 cars speeding a fast looking car and me who is the cop gonna choose )
