Default Check These Out!!!!

Good news...I finally was able to paint my 'eyebrows'. I'll post some pics ASAP. Meanwhile, check out the 4 designs on page 6 through my link in the sig. Tell me here what you think I should go with for the 'projector' style covers on page 6. Thanks!!! I'll post pics this week.

I like the one where you have the Pontiac symbol painted in the turn signal. But I wouldnt do any of those especially the last one until you upgrade to HID. Im not talking bout the bulbs, Im saying the actual kits. Your designs will make your light output worse than it already is.

The bottom left is pretty cool.

The cat on crack is a pretty good assessment

Well so far me and 89BonnieSE89 agree. I like the bottom left the best too. The Pontiac symbol one was second. I threw in the bottom right for fun. I knew I didn't like them. They'll look better when done instead of P-shop. Most likely I'll use them during the day or for show, and I'll use my 'eyebrows' the rest of the time since they don't prohibit much light.

Roadrash187, what exactly are the HID kits?

Thanks for the comments. Keep 'em coming. I'll have pics up tomorrow of my eyebrows, weather permitting. They look better than I thought they would!

Almost forgot, I painted my calipers red, and got new drums and painted them red also. I thought they'd stick out too much but they couldn't look any better! I'll be posting some pics early this week at my cardomain site. Just wanted to let people know. L8R...

High Intensity Discharge (H.I.D.) is a system integrating three carefully matched components. A micro gas-discharge lamp serves as light source, an electronic unit controls ignition and operation, and carefully matched circuitry ensures optimum luminous effect. The quantity of light is doubled, at half the energy consumption of halogen lamps. Its lifetime is extended by a factor of 5, the system emits a daylight color impression and allows for a highly compact headlight design.

The basic element of the system comprises a miniature high-pressure burner and the lamp base. The quartz envelope of the burner, which is about the size of a match, is filled with inert gases and metal salts. The arc is generated between two electrodes. Compared to the filament of a halogen lamp, the light quantity and density are substantially higher. Thanks to the small distance between the electrodes, Xenon gas comes very close to the ideal of the sun light source. The high luminance of the compact lamp ensures precise distribution of light and exact definition of the light/dark boundary on the road ahead of the vehicle. Through the gas-discharge principle, the lamp is shockproof. Its service life of approximately 3000 hours makes it an economical and reliable component.
