But your right repinS..... it'll be good to go out on top.
Even if it'* I'm to be "de-throned" by randman1s L67 in a few weeks.
I'm hoping I'm able to make it to the track to set some new records with a 87-91 before randman1 gets his beast at the track.
hehe.... sorta like the land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats.......

Hey merlin, i'm not sure what your rear exhaust mani looks like but if your looking for another option, you might want to check out westcoastfiero'* headers. They make a rear header for the series 1 that seems to point torward where you have your turbo.
I'm not sure if they would do just the rear or even if it points in the right direction but i thought i'd give you a heads up.

Tuning it a bit tomorrow, putting it in the bench on sunday.... could be fun... I hope...

Total cost..... you don't wanna know......
The turbo was about $900 USD, the piping was $300 USD, misc parts $500 USD.... plus intercooler and labor.... probably around another $1000 USD.

Another milestone today.....
Black Magic used 10psi of boost today!!!
Although I wasn't there for it, my mechanic tells me the boost spools up very quickly. A passanger in the car said it was like it lost 1000lbs almost instantly.
w00t!!!!!!
.... and best part.... nothing blew up
