heh, I've been in on this one for about 5 days now.
It looks to be a relatively small, peeshooter turbo, which means little to no turbo lag What turbo is it exactly?
Your exhaust note has probably changed (potentially becoming quieter too), and due to the backpressure that the turbo makes, you want as free flowing as possible. 3" exhaust piping into a straight-through "turbo muffler" is not out of the ordinary in a turbo setup. Is that Magnaflow dealy new or has it always been there?

The Magnaflow has been there for a while..... 3yrs or so.
The turbo is from Precision Turbo, I believe the model is SC34.
I'm sorta going by the AVC Turbo Bonneville article which with a computer controlled turbo and no intercooler took a stock SSE with 165hp running 17.3 in the 1/4 to 215hp w/ 6psi running 15.9 in the 1/4.
Again, based on this going from 17.3 to 15.9 is a drop of 1.4 seconds...... so doing simple math (and yes.... very simple) assuming I see the same gains, a 1.4 second drop will take me from 16.8 to 15.4. Now, I don't have a computer controlled turbo, but the IC may allow for a bit of extra boost.
I'd be happy with a 15.5
