I bought a new filler neck, gas tank, fuel pump, sender and new fuel lines. I need to find some new hoses for the filler neck.
The car has been at the shop for almost 4 weeks now. Getting a complete engine rebuild. That has since been done. But the fuel pump went out in that time. So I figured while I have access to a lift I'll replace the tank and all that good stuff.
I'm going in Monday after work to undercoat the bottom side of the car.

I checked napa and they said bring in the filler neck and they sell the hose by the inch. So that will work out great.
I hope to have this car done and out on the roads. I plan to take it across the state next month.

Found some rust above the gas tank. Nothing serious. I wire wheeled it and then sealed up the metal.
I undercoated the underside of the whole car today.
You can see the rust in the pictures. Nothing bad at all.

nice. i always thought those were the best looking gp'* of any year. like it would bite your arm if you got too close. to bad the engine didnt back it up, but i always got 30+ mpg with mine even when it had 300k on it.
