Hopefully it doesn't get any more expensive that than it already has. Money is no object.
I just want to get this taken care of before I leave. I don't need 2 more cars being stored this winter.

I was having a hard time starting it before the fuel leak.
I just got the tank back up. I bought a steel braided hose. From the fuel pump to the in on the filter. I put a hose clamp over it. I still have a leak there.
I couldn't believe it was still leaking. I have the fuel line that screws into the fuel filter that has a flared end that my hose goes over. I guess I'll take the fuel line off and make that flare bigger.
All the hose I bought it fuel hose. So it should be able to stand up to the pressure.

I'm at a loss for what to do right now. Hoses are good fuel filter is on nice and tight. I'm still leaking fuel. Tons of it. The car actually started right up. It didn't give me any problems. Fuel is still pouring out of the lines.

From the tank to the fuel filter was a rubber hose. That had fuel injection written down the sides.
Then it went into a fuel line that was about 3 inches long that had the nut at the end. That would screw into the fuel filter.
Basically I did the same thing. I bought a steel braided fuel injection hose. Bought a length of fuel pipe. Put the flare on the end and the nut on the other end. With a new gasket. I also put a clap over the hose. What was there before didn't have a clap.
It'* still leaking fuel. I tried several things today. I know my steel braided hose isn't too big were I don't get a tight fit. I actually got a size smaller. It was really hard to stretch over the flares.
I cut the steel braid off over the section of fuel line so my clamp would clamp down better. But it still leaks.
I really don't under stand it at this point. I basically took what was there and did it better.

i think i know what your talking about, those threaded ends are mechanically crimped its alot stronger than hose clamps. i think you may have to find hoses like you had, or they have adapters with the threaded side and barbed for going to rubber on the other. the carquest here usually can order that stuff. napa is good sometimes too especially for hoses. the big ones around here even do custom hoses with the proper ends
