I love my Cadillac and it'* quite a bit older than yours (a 1995). It'* still a Northstar FWD though. And the FWD is nice sometimes (read during ice and snow), and not so nice other times (i.e., accelerating hard from a standing start or low speed). Still glides down the road and imparts that Cadillac sense of calm and control.... Although parts are EXTREMELY ridiculous. $1200 for ONE SHOCK? I'll go with the passive aftermarket system when that time comes, thank you.

Is this a DTS I, II or III?
They are definitely a beautiful car. I was looking at buying one but what really turned me off was the fuel door. It'* big, placement is poor and the first thought that came to my mind when I saw it was "70'* vintage Mercury Grand Marquis".
I may still look towards one if the body style changes a little but it would definitely have to be a II or III. I've probably got more options right now in my GXP than a DTS I.

Not sure what you mean by DTS I, II, or III. It has Passkey III if that'* what you mean.
It has more options than my SSEi had.
::EDIT:: DTS became replacement for deville in 06. DTS was the replacement for the concours which replaced the earlier Touring Sedan. Basically it'* a STS using a deville body. More HP & Firmer ride,with Night Vision a very cool option. DHS was the replacement for the deElegence - Max Luxury Package, it'* was intended to fill the void when the Fleetwoods were terminated after 96. ::EDIT::
The front and rear seats are heated as well as the seat backs. Seperate heat controls for the back, dual climate control, XM Satellite, weather channel Bose system stereo. integrated phone, obsolete analog OnStar
, rainsense wipers, stabilitrac, traction control, 300hp 4.6L. 17" wheels. Ha, the fuel door. I noticed that right away also, look out when you unlock that baby too, it really springs open...but I couldn't pass on this deal. I would get another one when this gets old. (7 years) My definite favorite vehicle so far

I have been looking at tirerack for tires
