Default PowerProbeIII

MATCO truck got me today while at work. Sometimes he has goodies, and sometimes not. Today, he surprised me. I had to have it especially with the electrical diagnostics I have to do sometimes. Especially with miles of ABS wires.

Yes, it requires a power source. Either straight from the battery or from the cig lighter. This is setup for a reason. If you notice the rocker switch on the device, if you push the switch to +, the main probe will turn into 12+. If you switch it to - the probe will now become 12-. This is so you can poke into devices such as fan relays or light sockets and provide power as you need it to test the device.

Another tech. here has an older Snap-on version. Really nice to have, tests complete circuits in minutes. My next tool for sure.
