Default Exact P/N for Balance Shaft bushing carrier Saturn Vue 2006 Ecotec 2.2 I4

I snapped the tab on the front shaft support. Thought I'd order up the part alone, but I am finding it difficult to locate JUST that part online.
The GM Parts stores normally list the balance shaft bearings towards the rear but don't explicitly list out the front carrier that takes the 10mm bolt. Part #25 includes 2 types of bearings, but retailers just sell the rear.
Any ideas?

My first instinct is to get one from a junkyard. From what I've seen, those engines are usually in vehicles that die of non-engine issues, so there should be some around here and there. You might have to get an entire engine or head to get the part you need . . . or get your part by pulling it yourself at a self-serve yard.

My second instinct is that you might have to weld it . . . then machine the welds down to the proper dimension where required.

Have you tried a dealer?

Yes the junkyard calls to me. It'* such a pity that the only etailers that serve out that part are European or even Russian to cater for ecotec Saabs and Opels.

I haven't spoke to a dealer. That'* a last resort. Ebay holds a few sellers of complete balance shafts (incl. Sprockets and carrier bushing)

Makes sense. In the US these engines don't see major repairs very often when they need them..
