windows wont roll down-91 firebird. any ideas?
so lauren called me from work because one of her coworkers caught wind that i was redoing her headunit today and asked if id change her window motors. i said i would but that i wanted to look at the car before i order parts. i was just wondering if there was any common issues with them like say my moms century stopped rolling down windows because the window switch gets corroded. she said they stopped one at a time so im leaning towards motors but i was just wondering what you all thought.
any tips as to taking them out and putting them in would be great too. (mine was a royal pita)
thanks alot all.

could be either.if the 91 is like my 87 the switches are in the center console. i would probably start there at least you will know if power is going to each of the motors before you have to tear the door apart.

its her dd so im just gonna drive up to st jude and look at it in the parking garage just to assess things.

the hinges, yep the only thing saving alot of them around here is its so bad during the winter you cant possibly drive it. so the ones that are left are almost always someones second car/toy

unfortunately none of them are very impressive, i imagine even the 350 would be about the same as your car in acceleration. i like everything else though ride, handling, looks, etc.. they just need a crate engine swap to be cool

by the way... any tips on how i should go about doing the doors? ive never tackled doors before... let alone doors this heavy lol. the fact the windows dont roll down bothers me a bit. maybe i should do that before i go about the hinges.. but tips on how to do both are greatly appreciated
