Default Pitman Arm

I replaced my cv axles, outer tie rods, and front struts..
I still have a clicking and I think it is from my control arm, which I will replace soon, already have the part.
Got an alignment done and they circled pitman/idler arm...
That is part of my control arm right?
I can find no actual pitman arm anywhere...

Would have had the arms replaced before the alignment, but I needed a long 21mm wrench, and I had to work, so later on after replacement of the control arms I'll get another alignment.
I just want that clicking when I take off slow, or turn slow gone...

If that arm has movement up and down it'* bad. They don't like to pop out. I have a pitman arm puller that'* nice. It you have a decent set of jaws you should be oK.

When I googled pitman arm the pic looks nothing like anything on my control arms, or car that I can find.
RockAuto has no pitman arm listed as a part.
So is the idler/pitman arm not the control arm in my case?
The control arm does look worn, I posted a pic in a thread a while back, but I never got to replacing them.
The alignment shop said nothing, but under suspension check they circled pitman arm/idler....
I do have clicking on that side...

It has to be the ball joint, the steering is tight and responsive, but I do hear the clicking when slowly taking off, and making turns either way..

It looks like you're on track to replace all of the various joints under there. At this point, you may as well keep going.

The pitman arm can be bad and the steering tight. Just try and move it up and down. It it moves at all it needs to be replaced.

Don't need a pry bar just push on it with your hand.
