I am shooting for this weekend, I won't have any help, maybe because I did not buy any beer, shrugs, lol
I'll try to get pics, especially so I know where all my sensors connect to...

I need to find a nut for the alternator brace bar, it is on there good, but I lost the nut that goes on it right by the alternator..
Seeing that crud I am going to flush the rad till it is clean, last time I did this it took like half a day to get it clear....

I am a little puzzled, my coolant coming out of the rad is totally clean, but my rad cap looked like it was a used butt plug from a stripper that just ate taco bell for a week.

Anybody ever have fuel injectors not want to come out?
I had to remove the metal clips, remove the rail, then remove the injectors.
They were stuck in there good, and when I got them out the bung they fit in was grimy, oily and sandy...
I DIY cleaned my injectors, the spray looks good on all, but they would not reverse flush at all..
Almost tempted to replace all the injectors...

My concern is how much of this grime got into motor, well the cylinder head...
I used an air compressor to clean the area before removing them....

Most of the time all of the junk floating around in there ends up at the top of the radiator at the cap. When the system is completely purged, theoretically there is no air in it, and any air that finds its way in gets caught at the top of the tank where the cap is, and when enough pressure builds it gets pushed past the cap and out to the overflow tank. In the meantime, any junk floating around in there often likes to collect here.

Ahhhh ok, makes sense.
I know I purged the air as best I could last time I flushed the coolant out, I used the special lisle funnel and also bled it till there were no bubbles.
Still I guess there is always a pocket right under the cap...

I think I can clean these fuel injector up, and replace the o-rings I have 6 that came with the LIM kit, my blue uppers look in decent shape, but 3 of them got stuck in the fuel rail as I was lifting it up, so I may replace them just to be on the safe side...
There is actually 12 o-rings for injectors in the LIM Kit, but only are the right size for my car...
Man it is so tempting to just go ahead and replace the injectors, but I don't want to waste money....
Tomorrow I'll be removing the SC, then alternator bracket/coolant elbow, and finally the LIM, then I get too clean it all up, yayyyy.

I'd do all the o-rings. Clean up the seats for them as well.

Will do.

My main problem now is that I cannot get my front valve cover off, I cannot get thee motor mount tensioner bracket off so I can change the gasket.
I removed the one stud that has the grounding wire or whatever on it, and I removed the tensioner pulley, but I cannot figure out how to get the one long *** stud out, it is longer than my deepwell 15mm, I see it has a star bit looking end to it....
I am running out of daylight, was hoping to at least be ready to put it all back together tomorrow..
