Question crank but no start 2002 sunfire

Hello everyone i have a 2002 sunfire that i put in a new fuel pump last year and a timing chain
The other day it broke down on my son. It will crank over but will not start check for spark it has spark, check fuel pump you can here it come on check all fueses all good, pulled the valve cover off to check to see if the timing chain came off or broke valves are moving. want to check fuel pressure but cant' find where the pressure port is. Any help would be great and thank you all.

the gm manual says you have to disconnect the feed to the rail and install an adapter. you could try spaying starter fluid in the tb if it tries to fire, then its fuel not some sensor. also try moving the the throttle while cranking, sometimes its a dead spot at idle on the tps or iac issue, and putting the throttle on bypasses those

ok tried spaying starter fluid still no start listened to my injectors did not hear them opening.

Car should start with carb cleaner sprayed into the intake, if you have compression and spark.....

This an Ecotec engine?

Check for codes?

This is just a stab in dark but had a simular sitaation with 2001 malibu recently. Check to be sure security light (if you have one ) is not flashing when switch is on. If it is , turn switch on and wait till light quits flashing ( could take several minutes) when light quits flashing turn switch off then try to start.I know it sounds weird but we had that situation and it took a wrecker trip to shop to fig.it out.

Tech II this is a 2.2l sfi ohv 4cyl
parker2129 it does have a security system on this car but the light is not on and i to have that same issues had to reteach the comp.

put a scanner on today to see what codes were tripped there are none?

Is this a "4" motor? Have you checked compression?

yes it is a 4 cly and i will be checking compression and fuel pressure. my son was driving on the highway when it stopped running.
