AC blowing from top and bottom vents only
On my 1983 Pontiac Parisienne AC doesn't blow from dash vents only from top and bottom. Looking at the forum it sounds like the problem maybe with a disconnected vacuum line. Does anyone know where exactly to look for it in the Parisienne? Thank you.

1. While it is running, listen for hissing sounds from anywhere
2. You may not be able to hear hissing over the engine so you can try to get a hand-powered vacuum pump and test different vacuum circuits.
3. Get a really really long vacuum line and tap it into the vacuum path of something that runs reliably and draws plenty of vacuum, and is parked far enough away to not really hear it, and run a line all the way over to your car and connect up as needed. Now listen for steady hiss. I've done this a few times after becoming frustrated with various 70'* and 80'* barges with a zillion miles of vacuum lines each.

Welcome to the forums.
The silver round actuators have a vacuum line leading to them.
Probably best to have a good look behind the dash & check connections.
I don't have a repair manual, but dealer may have a parts schematic that would show exact locations.
Possibly another member knows exactly where they are...??
