To tell you the truth, that post did not make any sense.......disconnecting the battery for an hour, and then the car would start......yet the fix was repair of injector wires and replacing the injector fuse?

So you have the exact same symptom? Car won't start, you disconnect the battery for an hour , and then it does?

Is it a 3.4?

Ha it been scanned for codes?

Do you have spark, injector pulse, and fuel pressure?

Have seen rodent nests under the plenum, eat the insulation off the injector harness and cause the injector fuse to blow, but don't jump to conclusions......

One quick check you can do to determine if it'* a fuel deliveyr problem, is to have someone crank the vehicle while you spray carb cleaner at the throttle plate.....if it starts and runs as long as you spray, then you have to check fuel pressure and injector pulse....

If it doesn't start, then you will need a spark tester to check for spark on all cylinders......if no spark at all, then it could be a bad ICM or crank sensor(your vehicle has two, the one that goes into the block on the backside of the engine, is responsible for initial spark)....if you have spark, but not on all of them, could be ICM or Coil(rare more than one go at the same time).....

I'm having the same problem with my car. Its a 3.4L V6. It will crank but won't start unless I disconnect the battery for a while and then reconnect it. The spark and fuel pressure is good. At first I thought it might be the passlock issues that others were having, but the security light isn't on and the 10 minute reset doesn't work. Not sure what fuse others on the post are talking about. Any ideas on what I should check would be greatly appreciated.

When it won't start, will it start if you spray carb cleaner into the intake?
